Six pack abs diets are not crash diets limited meals or a miracle diet. There are guidelines to follow for the six-pack abs diet. Here are the guidelines to help create the abs of your dreams.
1. Decrease the overall number of calories consumed. Lower the number of calories by 500 calories per day allowing you to lose about 1 pound per week which is far healthier than any crash diet or fast weight loss system.
2. Eat 4-6 small meals per day to help regulate your blood sugar. The higher your blood sugar is then the more insulin your body is able to release to burn the excess weight and stored fat.
The smaller meals consumed more often also helps to avoid spikes in the blood sugar levels so you have a consistent level of energy all day long. This also helps to avoid the habits of eating unhealthy foods due to hunger generally associated with the 3 meal a day eating habits since many people get hungry between the meals.
3. Avoid eating 2/3 of the daily calories in the evening. Many people will eat a small breakfast small lunch and a huge dinner. The larger evening meal causes the blood sugar levels to become elevated resulting in stored fat.
4. Eat a healthy diet consisting of quality proteins good carbs and healthy fats. Eat more chicken fish turkey and nuts. For good carbs eat whole grains such as oatmeal and brown rice. For the healthy fats include Omega-3 from fish. You will need the carbs for energy to create the six-pack abs.
